The Third Wave marks the 50th anniversary of the original class !

On March 22, 2017, Lesson Plan was screened for the 50th anniversary of the Third Wave class gathering in the auditorium at the original high school (Cubberley HS, now a community center), before an audience of 300 people. After the screening, there was a Q&A session with the audience by original teacher Ron Jones, and original students Philip Neel, Jo Ann Wood Gasaway, and Mark Hancock. Then followed a public reception in room H-1, where the final Wave rally was held.
Thank you to our hosts, the Palo Alto History Museum and the Palo Alto Historical Association, and event sponsors The Palo Alto Unified School District, the League of Women Voters of Palo Alto, the Human Relations Commission of the City of Palo Alto and the Palo Alto Library (and a generous anonymous donor).
